What’s The Easiest And Most Effective Way To Break A Weight Loss Plateau With Diet And Exercise?

Have you been dieting and exercising… only to have reached a weight loss plateau? Or, are you about to get started with a diet and/or exercise plan, and you want avoid reaching a plateau? First things first. Before I talk about how you can break a plateau, I just wanted to give you a heads up on something I had to learn the way. Alright, here are a couple of things I recommend you do to break through those annoying plateaus…

With exercising…

If you go to the gym, change up and increase the intensity (repetitions, time, amount of weight, etc.) of your workouts week by week, and make sure you are not working out a particular part of your body more than once a week. If you workout at home with body weight exercises, change up the routine you do each time and increase the intensity week by week. This will prevent you from reaching a fitness plateau.

With dieting…

I recommend for you to do the calorie shifting diet. When you diet like this, you don’t eat the same way all the time. What this ends up doing is it will prevent your metabolism from becoming complacent and settling down to an eating pattern. When you eat the same way all the time, your metabolism slows down… and you’ll have a difficult time burning off fat. On the other hand, when you shift the calories of the foods you eat in the way a calorie shifting diet teaches you, you’ll keep your metabolism guessing… and while it is trying to figure out what your eating pattern is, it’s going to be running VERY high… and a very fast metabolism = lightning fast fat loss… WITHOUT reaching a plateau!

Bottom line, our bodies are like machines. If you program it by eating the same way and exercising the same way, it’s going to get used to this pattern… and inevitably your results are going to slow down. What you have to do is you have to consistently switch up everything to keep your metabolism fine tuned.
